JOB CLUB RI
Weekly on Tuesdays, 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM (January 18 & 25, 2022)
Job Club RI invites all those looking for employment or a career change to join and see what this seminar-based group can do for you. Hear from industry professionals, receive expert workplace advice, get resume assistance, learn tips & tricks of the hiring process, network with regional business owners, and so much more.
Monthly on Tuesday, 3:00 PM & 5:00 PM (January 25, 2022)
Our adult book club is open to all those who enjoy reading, whether you read dozens of books per month or just want to commit to one. Staff chooses a book from a different genre for each meeting. Pick up your copy at our Circulation Desk and attend one of two meetings (now at 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM - no sign up required).
ADULT LGBTQIA+ CLUB
Bi-Weekly on Wednesday, 6:00 PM (January 12 & 26, 2022)
Drop in for games, crafts, and entertainment in this social club for adult members of the LGTBQIA+ community to gather and support each other. No sign up is necessary. Email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information or to request a Zoom link if you'd like to attend virtually rather than in-person!
Monthly on Thursday, 1:30 PM (January 27, 2022)
This club is for collectors of antique buttons. They meet monthly to share their finds, hear from experts, and expand their knowledge of the history of different buttons, crafting methods, and to share their love of this form of miniature art. All are welcome to attend and no sign up is required.
SENIOR TECH CLUB
Weekly on Thursday, 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM (January 6, 13, 20, & 27)
This social club is for older adults looking for some fun group engagement. It provides a laidback atmosphere to meet friends and swap stories. Knowledgeable library staff is available for tech assistance if attendees need help with their devices, social media, email accounts, borrowing digital books, streaming services, and more.
